Position: Assistant Table Tennis Coach (Male/Female)
Location: PSPB Table Tennis Academy, Sonipat, Haryana (Posting at DPS now Orchid School International at Sonipat – Full Time)
PSPB invites applications from passionate and experienced Indian Assistant Coaches to support its high-performance coaching team, which includes a Foreign Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, Physical Trainer. The role involves full-time assistance in training sessions, player development, and academy activities for age groups 9-17 Years.
Qualifications & Skills
• The age of the Coach should be 35 years and above.
• He should also hold a certified coaching qualification from a recognised and accredited coaching institution.
• Minimum 5–6 years of coaching experience with strong references.
• Certification from SAI/NIS/recognized Table Tennis Federation.
• Playing experience at State/National level (preferred).
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of Indian and International T.T. rules.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Experience working with youth/junior categories.
• Knowledge of basic sports injury prevention and first aid.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Head Coach in conducting daily training sessions.
• Train and mentor boys and girls in the 9–17 age group.
• Support training programs, tactical development, and discipline management.
• Provide individual feedback and support players’ technical improvement.
• Coordinate with support staff (physical trainer, psychologist, visiting senior players).
• Assist in organizing tournaments, events, and exposure activities.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and high-performance training environment.
• Work collaboratively with the coaching team to promote excellence and sportsmanship.
